automated evaluation of machine data

design and development of software for automated evaluation and visualization of machine data

the work develops a vendor-independent software solution that enables efficient recording, storage and visualization of machine data. the central challenge is to create a cost-effective and universally applicable alternative to existing industry 4.0 systems that can be easily integrated into existing automation structures. the developed solution pursues a lightweight and modular approach based on open standards and high compatibility with various control systems guaranteed.

an essential aspect of the software is the central collection and analysis of data from programmable logic controllers (plc), which are widely used in industrial production plants. the visualization of the data plays a central role in the usability and usability of the solution. the developed software provides companies with an interactive, web-based interface that enables intuitive analysis and evaluation of the collected data. as a result, critical system values can be monitored, optimized production processes and trends are identified at an early stage. this makes an important contribution to the implementation of industry 4.0 principles.

the work shows that a powerful yet easy-to-implement alternative to existing industry 4.0 systems can be created through the targeted use of modern software technology. the developed solution offers a high degree of flexibility and scalability, making it suitable both for smaller industrial plants and for larger contiguous production lines.

the work thus represents a practical and innovative approach to improving industrial data processing and illustrates how modern software architectures can help to successfully overcome current challenges of industrial digitization.
