dual student won a prize

niklas rieker, our dual student in the bachelor of engineering | mechatronics degree program at esslingen - göppingen university, was awarded the irene kärcher prize as one of the top of the year students for his outstanding final grade of 1.1!

niklas developed a gripper arm whose adaptive gripper fingers can touch and hold any bottle using compressed air. this allows the most accurate delivery of physical materials from almost any cylindrical vessel. in future, in our robotic bar the original beverage bottles can be used instead of uniform metal bottles for every ingredient. niklas has more than earned the prize for his innovative idea, clever implementation and outstanding final grade! congratulations!!!
